Translation from Kannada to English- 
Kannada: ganDAntarakAri kelasa 
English: Husband brings vegetable. 
Long joke: 
========== 
One foreign speaker was giving a lecture. In between he told a joke which took 
about 5 minutes to complete. The interpreter translated it in just two sentences 
and the whole audience burst into laughter. After the program, the speaker asked 
the interpreter how could he translate such a long joke in just two sentences. 
Interpreter replied that he actually did not translate the joke at all. All that 
he said was "the speaker told a joke just now. All of you please laugh".
